Background
Word of Life to Nations Ministry is a faith-based, community-driven organization dedicated to transforming lives through education, compassion, and empowerment. For over a decade, we’ve worked to uplift the most vulnerable — orphans, youth, and families in need — with a focus on Kahuho Village and the greater Trans-Nzoia County in Kenya.
Our latest initiative, the Kahuho Word of Life Vocational Training Centre (VTC), is a bold step toward building sustainable futures for young people who lack access to formal education and employment.
Our Story
In 2017, under the vision of Bishop Noah Muhando Simiyu, we launched St. Elizabeth Mission School, starting with one humble ECDE class. This initiative has grown to serve over 220 children, providing them with not only education but also daily nutrition and a safe environment to learn and grow.
While this has made a huge impact, we saw a recurring challenge — many children cannot progress beyond Grade 6 due to financial, social, or family limitations. This inspired the next chapter of our journey: the establishment of a Vocational Training Centre.
