About St. Elizabeth Mission School
In 2017, guided by the vision of Bishop Noah Muhando Simiyu, we began a small but powerful journey with just one ECDE class. That humble beginning became St. Elizabeth Mission School—a place of learning, love, and hope for children in Kahuho Village.
Today, the school serves over 220 children, offering:
- 📚 Quality education
- 🍲 Daily meals
- 🛡️ A safe and caring environment
- 🙏 Spiritual guidance and encouragement
For many of these children, St. Elizabeth is more than a school—it’s a second home. It’s where they grow in confidence, discover their talents, and experience the love of Christ through every lesson and meal.
The Challenge We Saw
As the children grew older, we noticed a painful pattern: many could not continue past Grade 6. Financial struggles, family issues, and lack of access to secondary education left them stuck—with no clear path forward.
This is what inspired our next step: the Kahuho Word of Life Vocational Training Centre. A place where these same children, and many others like them, can learn practical skills and build a future full of purpose.
