Bishop Noah Muhando
Bishop Noah Muhando is a devoted servant of God, married to Anne Cheruto, and blessed with six biological children. He is called as an apostle to the dark regions of Kenya, where he communicates the love of God in word and deed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Calling and Vision
In March 2003, God gave Bishop Noah a powerful vision for the regions of Pokot, Marakwet, Trans-Nzoia, and Turkana. What initially seemed like a great burden became a divine passion, as God impacted his heart with a burden for the needy and hungry in these remote areas. His trust in God’s promise (Isaiah 41:17-20) and his belief that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” have been the foundation of his work.
Ministry and Impact
Bishop Noah serves as an ordained Bishop under Word of Life to Nations Ministry. Despite challenges, he continues to evangelize and plant churches. To date, he has established 28 churches in some of Kenya’s most remote and impoverished regions.
His ministry extends beyond preaching the Gospel. He and his team provide food, clothing, beddings, and blankets to orphans and abandoned children. With the support of well-wishers, they also assist with high school fees for orphaned and vulnerable students.
St. Elizabeth Mission School
A Beacon of Hope
In 2017, Bishop Noah established St. Elizabeth Mission School in the small village of Kahuho to directly address the critical educational and nutritional needs of vulnerable and orphaned children. The school began with a simple but vital mission: providing daily porridge and lunches, ensuring these children had at least one nutritious meal a day.
Since then, the school has grown into a cornerstone of the community, offering a safe and nurturing environment where children can receive a quality education. It is not just a place for learning; it is a true beacon of hope, providing stability, care, and a pathway to a brighter future for those who need it most. The ministry remains committed to its continued growth, expanding its support to meet the ever-increasing needs of the community.
Partnerships and Support
The ministry has been supported by dedicated partners from various locations. These include the late Norman Grimard from Laconia, New Hampshire, USA, and David Dean from Las Cruces, whose commitment has been invaluable. Their support, along with that of other partners, has been crucial in enabling the ministry to reach communities in need.
Bishop Noah remains steadfast in his mission to serve the least, the last, and the lost, relying on God’s provision and strength to continue this important work.
